NY-TERT Regional Instructor Program - May 8th & 9th, 2014 - Onondaga County 911

*CLASS ANNOUNCEMENT* NATIONAL JOINT TERT INITIATIVE (NJTI) - TELECOMMUNICATOR EMERGENCY RESPONSE TASKFORCE (TERT) NEW YORK TERT REGIONAL INSTRUCTOR “TRAIN THE TRAINER” PROGRAM SPONSORED BY: ONONDAGA COUNTY 9-1-1 – SYRACUSE, NY MAY 8TH & 9TH, 2014 8:00am to 5:00pm The New York TERT (NY-TERT) Regional Instructor “Train the Trainer” Program is designed to prepare existing TERT Team Leader’s to train and certify prospective NY-TERT candidates for deployment using the NJTI Deployment Awareness and NJTI Team Leader curriculums. NY-TERT Regional Instructor candidates should possess a background in training and/or group instruction; be comfortable presenting material in front of a variety of class sizes, and be comfortable working with and developing presentations using software and/or other digital mediums. Required: FEMA IS-144 or TERT Deployment Awareness certification – and - TERT Team Leader certification Recommended: ICS-300, ICS-400, Crisis Communications and/or CISM; Instructor Development Certification WRITTEN ENDORSEMENT FROM AN AGENCY OR DEPARTMENT HEAD IS REQUIRED FOR ALL ATTENDEES! Those interested in participating in the NY-TERT Regional Instructor “TTT” should e-mail the following items: 1) Letter of Interest: Why are you interested in becoming a NY-TERT Regional Trainer?
